Family Gift Drive

Liz Terwilliger for Congress is coordinating a family gift drive this holiday season. With input from area agencies serving families facing homelessness, house fires and other crises we have created a wish list. Think housewarming stuff (pots and pans, dishes, linens, etc.) With the help of volunteers donated items will be delivered to families in need in time for Christmas.

Everyone is invited to join us in this effort. We are developing teams in Bradford, Wyoming, Sullivan and Potter Counties so far. We are happy to expand! Those interested in participating may:

  • order items online and have them shipped to the address below,
  • drop donated items at participating businesses around the county,
  • make a monetary donation or
  • volunteer their time.

Organizations Serving Families in Need: If you are interested in participating in this drive, email liz@lizterwilligerforcongress.org. We need to know how many families we can reach through your organization, what are some ideas for things that they need and who will be our contact person with your organization. The names of families participating will be kept confidential.

Interested in Being a Donation Drop off Location? Email liz@lizterwilligerforcongress.org. We are looking for 2-4 locations in each area of the county. We’d be happy to add your business to our list and advertise your participation on social media and in our press releases. Donation drop off locations will be posted here and in the Facebook events Part 1 11/15-11/29 and Part 2 11/30-12/14 (Facebook only allows 14-day events)
