Liz Terwilliger for Congress is partnering with the Lycoming County Libertarian Committee for a personal care and hygiene products drive during the month of March.
Beginning March 8th and continuing until March 28th, we will be collecting items such as toilet paper, maxi-pads, tampons, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, shaving cream, razors, soap, shampoo and tissues. Donated items will be distributed to those in need in two ways. We will be delivering donated items to programs, like the YWCA Northcentral PA in Williamsport, who provide services to individuals and families facing homelessness and other personal crises. We will also be creating “kits” with items donated for individual pick up at designated locations.
We are looking for businesses to participate as donation drop off locations and/or as pick up points for individual kits. For drop off locations, we would provide a donation bin, which we would deliver on or around March 8th. We would pick up the bin and any donations on March 28th, or earlier if requested. For pick up points, we would deliver a pre-determined number of kits for individuals to pick up from your location.
If you are interested in participating in this personal care and hygiene products drive, as a business or as an individual volunteer, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or text/call 570-731-0822 or complete the rsvp form, here.
